Position Name : Developer Linux Kernel Engineer.

Education Requirement : BTech / BE.

Experience Range : 5-8 yrs.

Location : Bangalore.

Job Brief :

We are building and enabling Linux technologies and platforms for the customer's next generation Data Centre Eco Systems. The development activities include enabling various Enterprise Server features such as Virtualization ,Security, RAS, device drivers, EDAC and so on for the Linux kernel and other sub systems. We're looking for engineers to join our growing team of systems development and make an impact!.

Roles & Responsibilities :

The role involves Backporting various features from Linux vanilla kernel to the leading Linux distros, Troubleshooting and fixing customer issues, Identifying and automating various workloads and improving the overall process.

Must Have Technical Skills :

• Excellent programming skills in C.
• Excellent in Unix / Linux OS concepts ( Scheduler, Memory mgmt., Device drivers, Networking, System calls, locking [mutex / semaphore / spinlock], perf tools development).
• Experience in the development of any of the Linux / Unix OS sub systems [ Scheduler, Drivers, RAS, Security, Networking drivers, kernel performance optimization, system tools, etc ].
• Experience in KVM / QEMU virtualization development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
