Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst (BA) to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical development team. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional understanding of ServiceNow modules and hands-on experience in gathering requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and ensuring successful solution delivery aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional requirements for ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements , user stories , and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Work closely with developers and architects to ensure solution design aligns with business goals and ServiceNow best practices.
- Conduct workshops, demos, and UAT sessions with stakeholders for validation and feedback.
- Support process improvement initiatives and identify automation opportunities within ServiceNow.
- Maintain comprehensive process documentation , configuration details, and knowledge articles.
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and post-deployment validation of ServiceNow solutions.
Requirements
5–10 years of overall experience with at least 4+ years as a ServiceNow Business Analyst .Strong understanding of one or more ServiceNow modules — ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, or GRC .Experience working with App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, UI Builder , and Integration Hub .Proven ability to map business processes and recommend optimization through ServiceNow capabilities.Familiarity with Agile methodologies , user story creation , and JIRA or similar tools .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Business Analyst certification preferred.Must-Have Focus Areas
