10–15 years of industry experience

in

interior design, furniture design, and spatial design .

Education Background

Masters in interior design / Masters in architecture

Type of Industry Experience required

Interior design work, Furniture design, experiential design, good 2D, 3D, and rendering software knowledge

Key Result Areas

The following understanding would be required-

Software understanding like V-ray, Lumion, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Twinmotion.

Technical knowledge with an understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings.

Expertise in

Spatial Design , with strong

industry connections

and practical exposure.

Proficiency in

Interior Detailing

and

Construction Detailing , including

furniture design ,

wall panel systems , and

emerging materials .

In-depth knowledge of the

Culture and History of Interior Design , with the ability to contextualize design practices across time and traditions.

Strong industry collaboration skills and proficiency in documentation and academic paperwork.

Key Competencies

Software knowledge like Auto cad, SketchUp, Excel, Revit, Rhino, rendering software like V-ray, Lumion, Twinmotion, and technical knowledge with the understanding of Spatial design.

Additionally, an understanding of administrative work is necessary for coordinating with faculty to achieve parity between the campuses.
