Quality Engineer

About the role :

We are building and scaling a resident-centric ecosystem of products, which enable us to have a 360 view of the prospect / resident to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.

As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring quality of our software products by guiding Test Engineers as well as hands on developing and executing test plans, creating automated test scripts, identifying defects, and working closely with the developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

What You Will Do :

Act as a Lead making sure Test Engineers follow testing standards and methodologies

Design and develop test plans and test cases, using Gherkin, based on user story and / or feature acceptance criteria

Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

Perform manual exploratory testing

Identify, isolate, and track defects throughout the testing cycle

Work closely with the team, including developers, BA, and Product Owner to ensure timely resolution of issues

Develop and maintain test documentation and reports

Participate in design and code reviews

Participate in story refinement, ensuring that acceptance criteria are clearly defined

Ensure compliance with established testing standards and methodologies

Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and techniques

Continuously improve testing processes and practices

Technical Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software testing

2+ years of leading testing engineers

Experience with the following test automation tools - LambdaTest, K6, SpecFlow and SpecSync

Experience with the test automation frameworks - Selenium, Appium

Experience BDD and defining test scenarios in Gherkin

Strong programming skills in languages such C# or Java

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools in Azure DevOps

Technical Pre-screening test and technical interview will be required for all candidates

Overall Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, business management information systems, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred
