Illuminated is a blockchain company in the Sovereign Identity and Smart City space. We are bringing the power of web3 to our Governments and Startup Cities.

This Internship is suited for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is a motivated self-starter and is passionate about working at a fast-paced blockchain startup.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

What’s the day-to-day look like as a web3 UI / UX Designer?

  • From research to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, you will be in charge of designing products that solve problems in a simple and beautiful way.
  • Create and maintain Illuminated’s visual brand identity and drive adherence to brand architecture and guidelines.
  • Deliver pixel-perfect mockups and design specs while maintaining design quality of the shipped product.
  • Experience with wire-framing tools, user flows, storyboarding, site mapping and developing graphic visuals.
  • Translate business requirements and user research findings into simple user flows and elegant design solutions.
  • Review the performance of the product / feature release, identify learnings and find ways to enhance it.
  • Proactively suggest strategies, concepts, and creative ways to bring fresh thoughts that elevate aesthetic & brand voice as it relates to our company, Illuminated.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals, layout, hierarchy, typography, colour theory, and imagery.
  • Basic understanding of web animations and effects (e.g. parallax scrolling, hover transitions, subtle motion elements) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and the ambition to ship the best possible UI & UX.
  • Basic knowledge of the web3 ecosystem (NFTs, DAOs, cryptocurrency, metaverse) preferred.
  • Product thinking in various contexts and mediums.
  • The ability to take ownership and complete a project independently.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver high-quality creatives on time.
  • Understanding current market trends, developing competitive brand and design strategies that engage our community and drive meaningful acquisition.

    • Tools :

  • Adobe Suite : Illustrator, Photoshop, XD etc.
  • After Effects and motion tools
  • Sketch / Figma

    • Nice to Have :

  • Familiarity with Web Design
  • Experience with 3D software; Blender, Cinema 4D, Mixamo, Maya or Unity
  • Strong sensibilities in typography, motion, interactive and mobile design

    • Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of relevant work or internship experience with Visual, Product or UI / UX design.
  • An impressive portfolio demonstrating high-fidelity user interfaces, visual design, typography, and visual hierarchy.
  • Sensibility to art and design (visual harmony)
