Job Summary

: The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, components, and equipment required for our operations. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement processes align with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.Key Responsibilities : Sourcing and Procurement : Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating terms and prices to achieve optimal purchasing agreements.Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and pricing fluctuations.Technical Evaluation : Review technical specifications and requirements for materials and components.Collaborate with engineering teams to assess product quality and compliance with specifications.Supplier Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and quality of materials.Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.Cost Management : Analyze purchase requests and develop cost-saving strategies.Prepare and maintain procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and supplier performance.Qualifications : Diploma / Bachelors degree in Engineering, 3+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Location Navi MumbaiSalary 20k to 25k per monthIf interested mail resume at
