Job Description
Overview
As a Senior Engineer, you'll apply civil, infrastructure, or structural skills to river and maritime works, helping clients manage assets and operations efficiently and safely.
Your role
- Understand principles of water-related structures (treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, retaining walls).
- Lead feasibility studies, concept development, and detailed design with relevant code knowledge.
- Apply analytical techniques to solve complex problems and present technical work to clients.
- Deliver technical expertise independently in one or more familiar disciplines.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, environmental, structural, planning).
- Assign tasks to technicians / apprentices and support junior colleague development.
About you
Bachelor's / Master's in Civil / Structural Engineering (Chartered Engineer preferred).Strong knowledge of Eurocode, BS codes, ACI standards.Proficient in FE software (Robot, STAAD Pro).Excellent verbal and written communication capable of preparing technical reports.Flexible and adaptable to change.Reward & benefits
