System Administrator & Support

Responsibilities :

• Install and upgrade computer components and software
• Manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes
• Review and maintain firewalls and security activities (e.g., Sophos, Bitdefender)
• Handle port management (forwarding, blocking / unblocking, access limitation)
• Manage URL routing and load balancing
• Perform OS administration for Linux and Windows servers
• Manage macOS systems, including integration in non-Mac environments
• Administer Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
• Manage Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions
• Ensure server and data security
• Monitor server performance and apply optimizations
• Create, manage, and review FTP / FTPS / SFTP accounts and activity
• Troubleshoot VM and host server performance bottlenecks
• Implement server backup strategies and disaster recovery solutions
• Set up and maintain system readiness for new employee systems
• Track and maintain IT asset information
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems and network servers
• Monitor and analyze web system performance
• Perform system load / stress testing and escalate application issues to vendors
• Provide technical specifications and documentation for infrastructure planning
• Perform regular backups and maintain data protection processes
• Lead desktop / helpdesk support to minimize disruptions
• Implement smarter business processes and analytics tools
• Manage and renew SSL certificates on portals
