Founding Engineer – Dawnbreak AI

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Type : Full-time

About Us

Dawnbreak AI is a stealth-mode startup bringing automation to critical aspects of homecare fulfilment. We are building from first principles to solve one of healthcare’s most operationally complex and high-impact problems.

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join our early team — someone who thrives in ambiguity, codes with speed and precision, and wants to shape the technical foundation of a company from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Build from Zero → One : Design, prototype, and ship core systems and features that power our platform.
  • Full-stack Ownership : Work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure to deliver end-to-end functionality.
  • AI Integration : Collaborate directly with the CEO to bring AI / GenAI models into production workflows.
  • Scalability & Reliability : Ensure systems are built for real-world, high-volume use in healthcare contexts.
  • Hands-on Delivery : Write production-grade code, review peers’ code, and iterate rapidly based on user feedback.
  • Stealth + Speed : Operate in a high-trust, low-bureaucracy environment where execution trumps hierarchy.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in a startup or fast-moving environment.
  • Strong skills in Python, FastAPI, React / Next.js, and cloud-native infrastructure (GCP).
  • Experience integrating or working alongside AI / ML systems.
  • Comfortable working across the stack — from APIs to databases to mobile / web apps.
  • Excited to solve unstructured problems and take ownership of major technical decisions.
  • Pragmatic builder : can balance writing clean code with moving fast.
