Job descriptionDesign end-to-end architecture covering React-TypeScript front-ends, FastAPI micro-services, Python business logic, Azure data layers, and OpenAI API integration. Define interface contracts, event flows, observability standards, and non-functional requirements (quality, security, data residency, performance) Establish prompt / response validation, abuse mitigation, and PII safeguards for GPT-4o -class models Benchmark chat completion and Responses API, embedding models and vector index strategies; Convert epics to WBS , map to Jira boards, and drive backlog refinement with BAs Provide hands-on code reviews across UI, API, and data layers; Align sprint goals with contractual milestones, working with Program Director; Coordinate SIT / UAT, oversee automated regression with Pytest , Jest / Playwright , and CI / CD pipelines Present solution trade-offs to client architects and execs; Mentor 10-15 engineers; 12+ years designing and shipping full-stack SaaS or data platforms, with 5 + years in architectural leadership. Proven production use of LLM-powered features (e.G., RAG, multi-agent orchestration). Deep expertise in React , TypeScript , FastAPI , Python 3.11+ , asynchronous patterns, and REST / GraphQL. Hands-on with Azure PaaS (Blob, Functions, ADF, ACR, AKS) and IaC (Bicep / Terraform). Strong grasp of test automation— Pytest , Jest , Selenium / Playwright —and quality gates. Familiarity with data modeling, SQL / NoSQL (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB), vector stores, and Delta Lake. Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams and interface with C-level stakeholders. Prior work on financial-services analytics or regulatory environments. Experience hardening Azure OpenAI deployments for enterprise use. Exposure to Observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana) and threat modelling
