Key Responsibilities :
High-Value Client Acquisition :
- Identify, approach, and secure large-scale event orders from diverse sectors including corporates, government departments, educational institutions, and private clients.
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts that align with client requirements and company goals.
Relationship Building :
Cultivate and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with senior-level decision-makers and key stakeholders.Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing strategic solutions.Business Growth :
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.Proactively explore and identify new business opportunities to increase market share.Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to refine sales approaches and strategies.Strategic Planning :
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Amravati region and neighboring areas.Develop and implement strategic plans to expand business presence and drive revenue growth.Team Coordination :
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams (event planners, logistics, catering, decoration, entertainment) to ensure seamless event execution.Coordinate with various departments to deliver comprehensive event solutions that meet client expectations.Upselling & Cross-Selling :
Offer clients a full suite of event services including catering, decoration, entertainment, sponsorships, and other value-added services.Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, enhancing client satisfaction and increasing business profitability.Qualifications & Skills :
Minimum 6 years of proven experience in Event Management, Sales, or Business Development.Strong track record of acquiring high-value clients and managing complex sales cycles.Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Deep understanding of event management processes and the event services ecosystem.Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.Strategic thinker with strong market analysis capabilities.Excellent organizational and coordination skills.Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.Willingness to travel within the Amravati region and surrounding areas as required.(ref : iimjobs.com)
