Job description

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Python Developer at Acorn Globus. The Python Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), database management, and overall programming tasks to support the creation of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of complex Python-based applications using Django

framework

  • Manage projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and

    • high-quality output

  • Contribute independently to codebase while overseeing team contributions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including US-based colleagues
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation

    • Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working with Django or Python based web development
  • Proven track record of successful Python projects
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting
  • Strong independent contributor with self-motivation and discipline
  • Comfortable with having overlaps with US team hours

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with React for front-end development
  • Familiarity with GoLang is a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience with agile methodologies
