Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer and optimize VMware vSphere environments and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and NSX.
  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware Tanzu to support Kubernetes and containerized applications.
  • Automate and orchestrate VMware workflows using vRealize Automation (vRA) and PowerCLI.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure, with a focus on capacity planning and optimization.
  • Lead troubleshooting and incident management for VMware-based environments.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies using VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (cloud, DevOps, security) to drive VMware-related initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and industry trends.

Mandatory Skills :

  • Vmware VCF+NSX + Tanzu years of experience in VMware administration, with a focus on VCF, NSX, and Tanzu.
  • Must have work experience in Linux Environment.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware Tanzu for container management.
  • Deep understanding of vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T / V, and SDDC Manager.
  • Experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) and Kubernetes.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including TCP / IP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (PowerCLI, Python, etc).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCAP-DCV, VCIX, VCDX) are highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
