Job description
  • Non-financial Performance Data Management :
  • Develop and manage non-financial performance data templates to support the sustainability goals across the organization.
  • Design templates for data inputs and set periods / frequencies for data collection.
  • Conduct meetings with teams to ensure understanding of data templates and requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Materiality Management :
  • Design a Stakeholder Engagement Plan detailing identification, engagement frequency, and mode.
  • Create stakeholder engagement questionnaires and conduct surveys.
  • Analyze stakeholder engagement survey outcomes and prepare reports.
  • Identify materiality based on survey results and present to top management.
  • Digital Platform for Non-Financial Data and ESG Performance :
  • Design, implement, and manage a digital platform for non-financial performance data and ESG performance.
  • Define governance for non-financial data inputs with clear roles, responsibilities, and escalation metrics.
  • Design and implement an ESG dashboard for senior leadership, showcasing achievements and goals.
  • ESG & Sustainability Framework Implementation :
  • Understand and implement sustainability frameworks such as BRSR, GRI, SASB, ISO, and IR as per business and stakeholder needs.
  • Prepare the organization to participate in international sustainability forums such as UNGC, CDP, TCFD, and SBTi.
  • Collect, analyze, and verify ESG data in line with GRI or BRSR standards.
  • Organizational Development :
  • Facilitate sustainability training and capacity building within units and offices.
  • Develop internal sustainability champions to support sustainability initiatives.
  • Encourage internal teams to take sustainability initiatives and document case studies.
  • Building Organizational Capabilities :
  • Develop and implement a sustainability roadmap aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to embed sustainability principles across all levels of the organization.
  • Design and maintain sustainability dashboards for regular management review, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Decarbonization and Carbon Emissions :
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify decarbonization opportunities and set ambitious targets to reduce carbon emissions.
  • Fostering Cultural Change & External Engagement :
  • Engage with stakeholders like Marketing and SCM to understand sustainability requirements.
  • Lead and maintain Responsible Care certification across units.
  • Prepare submissions for sustainability awards and recognitions.
  • Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends and integrate them into the organization's strategy.
  • Communicate sustainability goals and progress with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skills and Qualifications :
  • Minimum Qualification : Bachelor's in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferred Qualification : Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Functional Skills : Strong communication, presentation, and influential skills; Knowledge of national and international sustainability frameworks.
  • Leadership Skills : Strategic thinking, analytical skills, ability to drive long-term sustainability strategies, and build strong relationships.
