Position Title : Senior Staff Engineer Cloud

What you will be doing :

Axway B2B Integrator development and support :

Onboarding of dataflow using SFTP and AS2 protocols on Axway B2Bi

EDI partner Onboarding on Ellison Group / Lightwell Framework on Sterling B2Bi

Developing XML and EDI maps using IBM Map editor

Creating mapping specification documents for X12, UCS and VICS EDI standards

Identify root causes / debugging of problems and troubleshoot, considering both long and short-term impact of proposed solutions and developed workable solutions

Monitor failures and reprocess those as necessary

Manage file transfer operations, including the zip / unzip, renaming, and processing of data files to ensure proper handling of sensitive data. Development of workflows on Sterling B2B integrator

Implement complex file transfer scenarios

Axway B2Bi and Sterling B2Bi administration activities such as monitoring, Patching and Upgrade

Use the Sentinel Web dashboard to monitor and track file transfer statuses, ensuring all transfers are completed within service level agreements (SLAs).

Ensure that files are correctly transferred, processed, and delivered to the appropriate recipients without loss or corruption of data on Axway B2Bi and Sterling B2Bi

Main responsibilities :

What we are searching for :

Retail and / or grocery industry experience is strongly preferred.

Expert on Axway B2Bi and Managed file transfers used in the retail industry domain.

Expert on Sterling B2Bi and EDI transactions used in the retail industry domain.

Experience in consulting is a plus

Knowledge of various integration patterns, data transfer protocols

Knowledge of integration with Kafka, IBM MQ and other middleware

Knowledge of various protocols such as SFTP, AS2, MQ, Cloud based Object storage etc.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience :

12+ years of experience in Administration, development and support for Axway B2Bi and Sterling B2B integrator

Experience in various data flow components of Axway B2Bi

Strong working knowledge using the IBM Map editor and B2Bi Business Process

Should have Experience with FTP, SFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, C : D and AS2 protocols for B2B communication.

Should Have good exposure to Consumer product goods, retail and transportation transactions such as 850,856,810,204,214,990, 894, 895, 997 etc.

Experience with Unix / Linux shell commands for file manipulation, and batch scripts to automate manual file processing

Strong file management skills such as zipping / unzipping, renaming files, and ensuring the proper integrity and formatting of transferred files.

Solid understanding of file encryption and secure file transfer protocols to maintain data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations

Understanding of EDI X12, XML, Flat file data structures

Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud services

Understanding of Network topologies in Cloud environments

Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL

Good communication skills

Mentored senior and junior engineers on Sterling / Axway architecture, partner onboarding strategies, and B2B best practices, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.

Led cross-functional integration initiatives by collaborating closely with EDI teams and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational goals, ensuring smooth delivery and continuous improvement

Business Acumen & Communication :

Skilled at understanding business challenges and translating them into solutions that create measurable impact.

Prior collaboration experience with business teams to ensure effective integration with business applications.

Excellent communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently while seeking direction when necessary.
