Amaha is a tech-enabled mental health platform supporting people with psychological needs. The firm is run by a team of mental health, technology, and wellness professionals. We are passionate about changing the lives of millions of people who will benefit from psychological support in all aspects of their lives.

With our self-care app, we aim to make psychological wellness more accessible and less stigmatizing. We have reached over 3.5 million people. We believe in combining the latest evidence-based interventions and ideas in the field of emotional health with cutting-edge technology and product design to build a stellar user experience. In addition to our B2C product, we have additional touchpoints with our 120+ therapists and corporate partners.

Our co-founders, Dr. Amit Malik and Neha Kirpal bring both the provider and user perspectives on mental and emotional health to Amaha, along with successful entrepreneurial experience both in India and abroad. Our core team comprises alumni from IIT, IIM, ISB, Wharton, St. Xavier’s, London Business School and other top schools across the world, with significant experience in developing and delivering emotional wellness products to individual users, corporates, and insurance companies.

About the role

We are looking for someone who can internalize our values and grow with us as we work towards our mission. An ideal member of the team would be curious and interested in learning and growing with us, and contributing to our shared goal of bettering communities across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership, training, and supervision of junior therapists
  • Delivering evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions
  • Carrying out psychometric assessments
  • Conceptualizing and delivering specialized workshops and webinars
  • Developing and engaging with specialized clinical protocols
  • Content research and development for proprietary products

Skills & Qualifications

  • M.Phil with 0 to 10 years of professional experience - freshers can apply
  • Desired attributes

  • Well-versed in evidence-based psychological therapies and psychometric assessments
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Keen interest in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Openness to learn and an enthusiasm to stay updated with current industry trends
  • Methodical work approach and a willingness to take ownership of projects
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Self-starter with a dynamic personality
  • Passionate about making a difference in the world of mental healthcare
