DBiz.ai - Senior SAP ABAP Consultant - Support & Implementation

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Consultant with 7 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, including at least 3 full-cycle SAP implementations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in SAP integration with third-party applications, along with a deep understanding of SAP modules and business Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, ABAP OO, and other related technologies.
• Lead the technical design and development of custom solutions to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with functional consultants and business users to analyze and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and support interfaces between SAP and third-party applications using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs.
• Optimize and debug existing ABAP programs to improve system performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement SAP enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BTEs as needed.
• Ensure best practices and coding standards are followed for scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Stay up to date with SAP technology advancements and recommend innovations where Skills & Experience :
• 7 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects experience.
• Strong expertise in ABAP, ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), ALV, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Hands-on experience with SAP integration using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and REST / SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, and performance tuning) is preferred.
• Good knowledge of SAP Workflow, Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, BTEs), and BDCs.
• Experience with Fiori / UI5 development is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP certification in ABAP or related fields is a Qualifications :
• Bachelors / masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certification (optional but preferred)
