Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS Infrastructure

About The Opportunity

Were seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and scaling of secure infrastructure in the AWS cloud.

Youll be responsible for ensuring our applications and data workflows run smoothly and efficiently, with a strong focus on Linux and Bash scripting expertise.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will bring solid computer science fundamentals, deep experience managing Linux systems, hands-on knowledge of automation, and a track record of building robust cloud Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure.
• Own deployment automation and champion infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Manage Linux environments including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Configure and maintain DNS, load balancers, and system monitoring tools.
• Improve system stability, security, and operational visibility.
• Support CI / CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Recommend and implement best practices for cloud security and Requirements :
• 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and proven programming ability.
• Deep expertise in Linux administration (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting (mandatory); Ruby or Python scripting experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration Qualifications :
• Experience with data workflows or ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build systems.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters / Ph.D. welcome).
