Job description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of software applications.
Provide hands-on coding and technical guidance in VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions.
Mentor and guide developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through implementation of best practices.
Identify and mitigate technical risks, and troubleshoot complex issues across environments.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Coordinate with QA and DevOps teams for testing, deployment, and release management.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.

Strong hands-on expertise in :

VB.NET and ASP.NET (backend development)

SQL Server (database design, optimization, and stored procedures)

JavaScript (frontend scripting and UI interactivity)

Experience with web services (REST / SOAP), version control (Git), and CI / CD pipelines.

Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented principles.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
