Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fabric Sourcing Executive to join our team at May I Help You. As a Fabric Sourcing Executive, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement of fabrics for our company. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in fabric sourcing and a strong understanding of the textile industry.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in fabric sourcing, preferably in the textile industry
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, textile production processes, and market trends
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing supplier contracts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and track inventory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for sourcing fabrics from domestic and international suppliers
  • Identify and evaluate potential fabric suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships
  • Monitor market trends and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the textile industry
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including designers, suppliers, and production teams, to ensure timely and cost-efficient sourcing of fabrics
  • Manage fabric quality and maintain adherence to company standards and specifications
  • Monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure consistent quality and on-time delivery
  • Track and maintain accurate records of fabric inventory and ensure optimal stock levels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
