Role Overview

Position : Engineering Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
Commitment : Part-time 20 hours / week (potential to extend to 40 hours / week)
Duration : 1–2 months
Join an exciting collaboration with a top AI research lab. Contribute to developing and evaluating advanced AI systems replicating real-world workflows in engineering.

Responsibilities

Create and assess complex problems in engineering across subdomains such as civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, and systems engineering.

Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, technical rigor, and domain relevance.

Provide clear written feedback on engineering problem sets, designs, and solutions.

Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance.

Ensure technical accuracy and academic precision in all engineering content used to train or evaluate AI systems.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

Engagement Details

Compensation : Competitive hourly rate based on experience ($65-$80 USD / hr)

Contract Type : Independent contractor

Schedule : Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours

Payment : Daily payment via Stripe Connect
