Senior Database Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Database Professional with hands-on experience in Amazon Redshift and MySQL to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex database systems that power data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop database objects (tables, views, procedures, UDFs) in Amazon Redshift and MySQL.
• Write, test, and optimize complex SQL queries and data pipelines.
• Fine tune slow queries and in different scenarios to achieve best performance.
• Data life-cycle management for high volume system with the help of Data Partitioning.
• Rolling out various schema changes across environments.
• Build and maintain ETL / ELT workflows to ingest data from various sources into Redshift / MySql
• Support data migration from legacy MySQL systems to Redshift-based warehouse.
• Analyze and resolve performance issues, including indexing and query optimization.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Maintain schema documentation and data lineage information.
• Work closely with different teams to fulfill data requirements.
