QA Engineer

Position Summary :

Trek Bicycle is looking for a full-time QA team member preferably with experience working on E-commerce based web applications. Trek is located in Gurugram, India.

The QA Engineer Team Member will :

Work closely with team members to ensure understanding of the acceptance criteriaBe responsible for writing and maintaining manual test scenarios in a BDD format.Be responsible for executing those test scenariosBe responsible for identifying defects and for documenting those defectsBe self-organized, self-motivated and require minimal supervisionBe flexible with workloadBe familiar with agile development methodology and with the associated ceremoniesWork with the QA Automation Engineers to produce automation scripts in BDD formatBe a fast learner and will recognize the need to escalate issuesBe a team playerParticipate in release verificationWork to execute and refine our quality standards and processesProduce and maintain team wiki updates

Position Requirements :

CS degree and / or 3-6 years of experience in a QA Analyst or QA Engineer capacityExceptional communication skills (verbal and written) are requiredExperience with testing web and mobile applications is desiredExperience working in an Agile methodology is desiredExperience with test case management and defect tracking software is desiredExperience with Hybris or other ecommerce platforms is a plusBeing a team player is required
