Key Responsibilities
Process Accounts Payable (AP) : verify and process vendor invoices, match purchase orders / receipts, ensure approvals, and timely payments.Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) : prepare & send invoices to clients / customers, record receipts, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain aging reports.Maintain and reconcile general ledger entries, vendor & customer ledger reconciliations.Assist with taxation and statutory compliance : GST, TDS, any relevant indirect / direct tax filings; ensure proper deductions; maintain required documentation.Payroll administration : process payroll, deductions, reimbursements; ensure statutory compliance.Use accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar) to maintain accurate bookkeeping.Perform bank reconciliations, track expenses, petty cash, etc.Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial audits.Generate finance reports / MIS as required : cash flows, AP / AR aging, budget vs actual, etc.Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline finance operations, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.1‑4 years of relevant experience in finance / accounting / operations.Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Taxation (GST, TDS, etc.).Proficiency in Tally (or any comparable accounting software).Strong Excel skills : ability to work with functions, pivot tables, and data reconciliation.Good understanding of Indian accounting and tax regulations.Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.Good communication skills (written & verbal), ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.Analytical mindset; good with numbers and problem-solving.
