Job Title : Senior Associate – Portfolio

Location : Powai, Mumbai

Experience : 2-5 years of experience

Key Responsibilities / Duties :

Lead and support the implementation of various startup support and investment programs under SINE’s portfolio.

Oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of portfolio startups – onboarding, reporting, engagement, and performance tracking.

Collaborate with leadership and legal teams to structure and finalize incubation / investment term sheets and legal agreements.

Act as the key liaison between startup founders, legal team, investors, and other ecosystem stakeholders.

Drive the development and finalization of online and offline processes for portfolio and investment management.

Market research and analyze portfolio performance through data tracking, reporting dashboards, and periodic reviews.

Map funding opportunities (grants, equity, debt) and strategically connect portfolio startups to the right sources.

Coordinate and manage financial, administrative, and compliance activities for long-term funding programs supported by government or corporate partners.

Evaluate and screen startup applications, assessment of technology novelty, business potential.

Organize and manage events like Demo Days, Investor Meets, Portfolio Reviews, and Startup Showcases in collaboration with the outreach / partnership team.

Provide mentorship support to portfolio companies on fundraising readiness, pitch preparation, and investor connects.

Qualifications & Desired Skills :

Any B.com / B.E - Mechanical / Electrical / Technology / Electronics & Communication / Computer Science

CA Inter / MBA and experience in Investment or Portfolio Management preferably

2-5 years of relevant experience in startup investment, portfolio management, or incubation programs.

Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and investment frameworks.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)

Exposure to startup grants / investment, investors, ecosystem, willingness to work with startups
