Role Description
This is a full-time role for a South Indian Cook at Basil Hotels & Hospitality Services. The South Indian Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian cuisine, ensuring high-quality food presentation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and managing ingredient inventory. The role also involves collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service. This is an on-site role located in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Expertise in South Indian cooking and culinary traditions
Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
Ability to manage ingredient inventory and work collaboratively with kitchen staff
Strong organisational and time management skills
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
