Analyst - Corporate Finance CoE

About you

• 2024 graduates with a specialization in Finance from top-tier colleges.
• Strong academic record with 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Background in investment banking, equity research, or consulting with corporate finance exposure.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to Python / GenAI is a plus.

What you ll do

• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, underlying valuation principals, ability to connect financial performance to valuations
• Ability to think through the impact of any change in one financial metric across financial statements, and impact to valuation
• Ability to make sense of financial data, such as reasons for high or low growth, margins, returns, multiples, leverage and accompanying competitive dynamics
• Cross-link different business models and multiple industries key dynamics, using key drivers / KPIs behind operational and financial performance
• Take responsibility for assigned work streams and generate hypotheses. Effectively understand the work plan and execute it
• Identify and apply the relevant analytical tools for own work stream. Ensure error free analysis in own work stream ensuring key questions are answered in a timely manner
• Understand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve discrete issues and / or drive consensus
• Communicate data, knowledge and insight to the entire team. Generate and screen realistic solutions based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutions
• Effectively structure communication of insights from own work stream. Deliver clear and professional presentations to the team / team leaders / managers
• Consistently seek and provide meaningful and actionable feedback in all interactions; recognize different skills and development needs in oneself and work towards it
• Proficient in research and analysis, but able to provide solid business judgment to derive answers in situations where data is not easily available or explicitly published
• Has hands on experience in conducting company research, industry research, and investment related research
