Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI / CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, and performance testing using automation tools.
  • Track, log, and verify defects in defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
  • Ensure test automation supports scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide inputs for process improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new automation tools, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one automation tool (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium,

    • TestNG, JUnit).

  • Strong knowledge of programming / scripting languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Bamboo).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.
  • Experience with performance / load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
