Position : Senior WebKit Developer

Experience : 3 – 6 years

Location : Bangalore (Complete Office)

Employment : Recro( Sony)

As a Senior WebKit Developer , you will be responsible for driving innovation in browser engine and media application technologies . This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement features, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain WebKit and media-based applications.
Implement and optimize C / C++ code for Linux environments.
Work with web standards (HTTP, TCP / IP, TLS, WebSockets).
Handle graphics rendering (OpenGL / 2D drawing).
Contribute to media components (HTMLMediaElement, MSE, EME).
Collaborate in Agile Scrum development and version control (Git).
Optimize performance with multi-threading and concurrency management.

Must-Have Skills :

3–6 years of experience in C, C++, WebKit

Experience with Linux, Python, Perl, CMake

Strong knowledge of Web Standards (HTTP, TLS, WebSockets)

Graphics & Media expertise (OpenGL, MSE, EME, HTMLMediaElement)

Hands-on with Git / Version Control

Strong problem-solving skills & Agile experience

Good-to-Have Skills :

Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

Contributions to WebKit or other open-source projects

Knowledge of Blink, Gecko rendering engines

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD)

Awareness of Web Security Best Practices

Proven experience mentoring / leading projects
