Job Title : Business Solutions Advisor

This is a pivotal role that requires an individual to identify business challenges of customers and map MetricStream GRC solutions to these challenges. The ideal candidate will have domain knowledge in industries like Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and CPG, and should be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

The primary objective of this position is to analyze customer requirements, develop solutions, and provide training and support to ensure seamless implementation of our GRC solutions. With a strong passion for delivering exceptional results, you will build long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and drive business growth for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Solution Consulting : Collaborate closely with Sales, Account teams, and Partners to define, articulate, and deliver robust GRC solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Opportunity Management : Manage end-to-end sales opportunities—including qualification, bid responsibility matrix, proposal creation, presentations, and post-bid clarifications.
  • Sales Lifecycle Engagement : Actively participate in all stages of the sales cycle—from discovery calls and pre-bid demonstrations to negotiations and closure.
  • Needs Assessment : Engage with prospects to understand and document their current challenges and define solution scope.
  • Mapping & Advising : Utilize industry knowledge to map MetricStream GRC solutions to customer business problems and demonstrate solution value.
  • Trusted Advisor : Establish credibility with customer decision-makers, advising on technology, architecture, and integrated offerings.
  • KPIs & Reporting : Ensure accurate administration and reporting of sales KPIs, forecasts, and plans.
  • Collaterals & Knowledge Sharing : Develop and contribute to sales and marketing collateral, case studies, presentations, and knowledge management assets.
  • Performance Ratios : Drive high conversion ratios and maintain process efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Experience : 2-4 years overall experience, with at least 1-3 years in Presales, Solutions Consulting, or related IT Products / Services roles.
  • Client Engagement : Demonstrated client interface, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solution Orientation : Proficiency in understanding and positioning the right products / apps / solutions to address customer business challenges.
  • Influence & Credibility : Highly credible, with the ability to effectively influence internal teams and external clients.
  • Drive : Determined, results-oriented, and enthusiastic in driving opportunities to successful closure.
  • Analytical & Interpersonal Skills : Strong business acumen, planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Communication : Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Quality & Attention to Detail : High sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Agility : Ability to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timeframes.
  • Collaboration : Experience working in complex, matrixed environments requiring cross-functional coordination with senior stakeholders.
  • Leadership : Experience in leading, mentoring, or managing others within a team environment is a plus.
