Job Profile – Banquet Sales Executive

The Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for driving banquet and event sales by generating leads, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful execution of events. The role involves achieving revenue targets through proactive sales, client servicing, and coordination with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for banquets.
  • Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, and conduct negotiations to close sales.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Coordinate with banquet operations and F&B teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and track revenue achievements.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through personalized service.

Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-centric approach with ability to build long-term relationships.
  • Knowledge of banquet / event market trends.
  • Sales-driven with target-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings.
  • Qualification & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in banquet, hotel, or event sales (freshers with strong drive may also be considered).
