Responsibilities

• Leadership : Lead, manage, and train a team of maintenance staff to ensure optimal performance and provide technical support.
• Planning : Develop and implement long-term maintenance and repair strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all hospital equipment and systems.
• Budget Management : Oversee the maintenance budget, control costs, and ensure all activities are within budget constraints.
• Compliance and Safety : Monitor and ensure the hospital facility and all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and all relevant regulatory standards.
• Coordination : Coordinate with other hospital departments, such as Biomedical Engineering, to schedule maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to patient care.
• Operations Management : Supervise all repair and maintenance activities, including the upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and ensure the availability of critical spare parts and tools.
• Data and Improvement : Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reporting : Document and submit reports to senior management on budgets, progress, and schedules.
• Vendor Management : Identifying and engaging appropriate vendors for the utility equipments and general repairs.
