Job Title : SAP Vertex Consultant

Experience : 8 to 15 years

Job Location : Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore

Work Mode : Onsite

Notice Period : Immediate (15 Days)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Configure and support SAP S / 4 HANA FI Tax modules with Vertex integration across O2C and P2P cycles.
  • Configure VAT (tax procedures, tax keys, conditions, input / output tax codes) and Withholding Tax (TDS / WHT) (codes, types, keys, master data).
  • Perform system reviews, conversion of in-house applications, and re-engineering of business processes to standardize on SAP.
  • Develop and maintain Functional Specifications, WRICEF objects, business process documentation, end-user guides, and FAQs.
  • Implement SAP pricing with tax procedures and external tax calculation in O2C and P2P.
  • Design and deliver custom reports for reconciliation between SAP FI tax data and Vertex Reporting & Returns databases.
  • Develop and execute regression testing procedures for inbound / outbound processing with legacy systems (iDocs, XML).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex tax issues and provide technical guidance for excise tax processing and compliance.

Must Have Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP S / 4 HANA FI Tax configuration with Vertex integration.
  • Minimum 1 implementation and 2 support projects in tax-related O2C and P2P processes.
  • Expertise in configuring VAT and Withholding Tax (TDS / WHT).
  • Proficiency in writing Functional Specifications and creating / managing WRICEF objects.
  • Strong understanding of Vertex tax engine mapping, integration, and reconciliation with SAP tax calculations.
  • Ability to design custom reports and handle reconciliation of SAP and Vertex data.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

    • Good-to-Have Skills :

  • Exposure to multi-country indirect tax processes and compliance.
  • Experience in S / 4 HANA migration projects involving tax.
  • Knowledge of SAP FICO integration with MM, SD, and other modules.
  • Familiarity with tax reporting tools, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and global tax projects.
