Job Summary :

We&aposre seeking an experienced and skilled Business Reporter to join our digital and multimedia team. As a Business Reporter, you will be responsible for researching and writing engaging, informative, and timely business news stories for Republic Business&apos digital platform.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Research and write business news stories : Conduct interviews with key sources, analyze data and trends, and write well-structured, engaging articles on business and economic topics.

2. Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality content : Work under tight deadlines to deliver well-researched, accurate, and engaging articles that meet our editorial standards.

3. Develop and maintain sources : Build relationships with key sources, including business leaders, analysts, and experts, to stay informed about market trends and breaking news.

4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends : Continuously update your knowledge of business and economic trends, markets, and industries to provide insightful and authoritative reporting.

5. Collaborate with the editorial team : Work closely with editors, producers, and other reporters to develop story ideas, plan coverage, and promote content on social media.

6. Optimize content for digital platforms : Ensure that your articles are optimized for search engines, social media, and other digital platforms.

7. Participate in digital content creation : Contribute to the development of other digital content, such as videos, podcasts, and infographics.

Requirements :

1. Education : Bachelor&aposs degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.

2. Experience : 4+ years of experience as a reporter, preferably in a digital news environment.

3. Skills :

1. Excellent writing, reporting, and interviewing skills.

2. Strong analytical and research skills.

3. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
