Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong background in custom development, enhancements, and integration across SAP modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) and will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions that align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using SAP ABAP .

Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows).

Develop and maintain CDS Views, OData services , and RAP-based applications .

Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Perform code optimization, performance tuning, and debugging .

Support SAP implementations, upgrades, and ongoing system enhancements.

Integrate ABAP with SAP Fiori / UI5 and other SAP modules.

Follow SAP best practices and ensure adherence to development standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services .

Experience with RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) is mandatory.

Knowledge of SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Reports .

Familiarity with enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, and user exits .

Exposure to SAP S / 4HANA environment .

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP ABAP certification (optional but preferred).

Experience in SAP Fiori / UI5 integration .

Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies.
