Role Overview
The Delivery & Practice Head / BU Head – AI will own the end-to-end strategy, growth, and delivery of the AI Business Unit. This leader will define the Go-to-Market plan, drive revenue, and ensure excellence in solution architecture, delivery management, and talent development. The role demands a proven track record of scaling AI / ML practices, building high-performing teams, and engaging CXO-level clients to deliver transformative AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market & Sales Leadership
- Define and execute a robust Go-to-Market strategy for AI solutions and services.
- Partner with global sales teams to generate AI-led opportunities across industries.
- Drive revenue growth, pipeline creation, and account expansion with differentiated AI offerings.
- Represent the AI BU at client pursuits, industry events, and strategic alliances.
Solution Architecture & Innovation
Lead the design and architecture of scalable AI / ML solutions tailored to client needs.Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to create innovative offerings aligned with digital transformation initiatives (Cloud, Analytics, Security, Automation).Maintain thought leadership by tracking emerging AI trends, frameworks, and technologies.Delivery Management
Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI programs ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency.Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and delivery excellence models.Proactively mitigate risks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and client expectations.Talent Acquisition & Development
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing AI delivery and solutioning team.Drive hiring strategy for AI architects, data scientists, ML engineers, and domain experts.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Client Engagement & Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs and business leaders.Engage with clients to identify business challenges and translate them into AI-led solutions.Conduct co-creation and innovation workshops to shape future-ready AI strategies.Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive engagement and measurable value delivery.Qualifications & Experience
Education :Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).Experience :15+ years in IT Services with at least 5+ years leading AI / ML business units or practices.Proven record of driving AI / Analytics solutions across industries (BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Technology).Strong background in delivery management, client engagement, and building high-performance teams.Hands-on exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI / ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, etc.).Skills :
