Key Responsibilities
- Student Counselling & Admissions
- Guide students and parents through the complete admissions journey : enquiry, counselling, application, offer management, and enrolment.
- Provide accurate information on international programs, admission requirements, scholarships, visa processes, cost of living, and career outcomes.
- Develop a deep understanding of student profiles and recommend suitable pathways.
- Handle student objections empathetically and provide solutions to ensure successful conversions.
- Lead Management & Conversions
- Manage and convert leads from multiple sources (walk-ins, online, referrals, school / college outreach).
- Ensure timely follow-ups across multiple touchpoints (calls, WhatsApp, emails, video sessions).
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular conversion reports.
- Consistently achieve weekly and monthly enrolment targets.
- Outreach & Engagement
- Conduct and participate in webinars, seminars, career fairs, and school / college outreach programs.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and key decision-makers.
- Identify referral opportunities through current students and alumni to expand the recruitment pipeline.
- Collaboration & Process Management
- Work closely with the academic, mobility, and visa support teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
- Stay updated on program developments, admission cycles, and global education trends.
- Share regular feedback with internal teams to improve recruitment processes and messaging.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA Marketing preferred).2–6 years’ experience in student counselling, admissions, or overseas education sales.Proven track record in meeting or exceeding enrolment / sales targets.Strong knowledge of international higher education systems and application processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one regional language.Empathetic, student-first approach with strong persuasion and negotiation skills.Confident in using CRM tools, digital communication platforms, and lead management systems.Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.Willingness to work six days a week and travel within India for student recruitment activities.Desirable (Not Mandatory)
Prior experience working with universities, pathway providers, or study-abroad agencies.Existing network of schools, colleges, or recruitment agents, especially in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities.Benefits
