Job description

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for independently managing inventory, warehouse operations, and scheduling & follow-up of dry goods for the unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for scheduling purchases and coordinating their receipt with the Head Office (HO).
  • Verification of the quantity of purchases against specified norms and standards.
  • Inventory management (stock-taking, documentation, issue / return, stock audits, etc.).
  • Monitor storage, handling and production losses.
  • Ensure scrap disposal at optimum prices within scheduled time frames.
  • Responsible for maintaining all ERP records and preparing MIS reports.
  • Ensure legal compliance related to stores and purchases.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality compliance requirements in the warehouse.

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate.

    • EXPERIENCE :

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry.
  • Well versed with Excel and Power point.
  • Basic knowledge about warehousing and transportation.
  • Familiarity with laws pertaining to excise is preferred.
