About the Role :
Rocket Capital is hiring a Principal for Private Credit to lead origination and execution in India. This role suits an investment professional with deep experience in leveraged finance, debt advisory, or private credit who can operate independently while collaborating across borders.
You will :
Originate and evaluate private credit opportunities across mid-market and growth-stage companiesStructure and underwrite transactions across the capital structure including senior secured, mezzanine, convertible, and other structured debtBuild and review financial models, run sensitivity analyses, and assess covenant frameworks and downside casesPrepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment CommitteeLead due diligence and transaction execution with internal teams and external advisorsMonitor portfolio performance, track covenants, and identify early warning signalsCollaborate with Rocket Capital teams across Southeast Asia on origination, syndication, and co-investmentWho We Are Looking For
Qualifications :
Minimum 6 years of experience in private credit, leveraged finance, debt advisory, or structured financeStrong academic credentials. MBA in Finance, CFA, or Chartered Accountant preferredDemonstrated ability to source, structure, and execute private credit transactions with clear risk assessmentAdvanced analytical and underwriting skills including financial modeling and credit metricsStrong understanding of credit documentation, security packages, and intercreditor mechanicsExcellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholdersSelf-starter with ownership mindset and comfort operating in a cross-border environmentWhy Join Rocket Capital?
