Job description

Vessel Management Role

This is a challenging role for an experienced individual to oversee the management of vessels, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement strategies to improve vessel performance and efficiency.
Manage maintenance and repair programs to minimize downtime and costs.
Supervise shipboard working organization and ensure effective communication between departments.
Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement.

Dry Dock Planning

Prepare dry-docking specifications and evaluate tender documents.

Plan and coordinate docking activities to meet schedule and budget requirements.

Crew Management

Monitor crew overtime and ensure compliance with company policy.

Implement measures to improve rest and work hours.

Certification and Compliance

Ensure all vessels are certified and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Notify classification societies of any deficiencies or issues.

Minimum qualifications : software proficiency, knowledge of vessel systems, analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, excellent communication skills, management experience preferred : superintendent, deep sea CE with slow speed propulsion or industry maintenance experience.
