Cloud-Operations Support Engineer

Job Summary (DTNA-Cloud-Operations Support Engineer) :

• Provide 24 / 7 operational support in rotating shifts for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Manage ITSM processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management, along with escalation procedures.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and root cause analyses (RCA).
• Utilize tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, PagerDuty for ticketing and incident management.
• Participate in on-call duties for production support.
• Work with public cloud platforms (preferably Azure) with 3-5 years of experience, specifically on microservices-based applications.
• Operate and support containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, FluxCD) in production environments.
• Support cloud-native, enterprise-scale applications including API gateways, high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Apply knowledge of cloud and application security best practices (HTTP, TLS, certificate management).
• Set up, manage, and troubleshoot CI / CD pipelines using Github or similar tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Implement and maintain observability, logging, and monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure App Insights, Log Analytics, etc.).
• Provide provisioning, enablement, and support for various Azure compute, storage, network, and integration services.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or CloudFormation Templates (CFT).
• Exhibit understanding and application of modern infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Possess basic debugging experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, NodeJS, Go).
• Understand and work with package / dependency management systems (e.g., Maven, Gradle, NPM, Composer, Yarn).
• Use code repository tools (git) and workflows, with experience in one or more Git solutions (Github, Gitlab, Gerrit, Bitbucket).
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, knowledge sharing, and self-motivation in a collaborative environment.
