Job Title : Purchase Executive

Job Description :
Responsible for sourcing negotiating and purchasing materials, equipment, and services in line with company standards and cost expectations, Ensures timely delivery, quality compliance, and maintains good supplier relationships.
Inventory and supply chain management :
- Daily monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all food and supplies.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department & Suppliers to ensure timely restocking.
- Conduct regular stocktaking and liaise with auditors for stock-take reviews.
- Ensure efficient distribution of supplies.
Operations and administration :
Ensure the canteen stores are clean, organized, and meet hygiene standards.Coordinate with kitchen staff and management for smooth daily operations.Enforce policies regarding punctuality, dress code, and discipline among staff.Handle administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and preparing Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports.Staff management and training :
Supervise, train, and guide canteen staff on material handling & transaction records.Train new staff members on their duties and responsibilities.Financial and compliance oversight :
Assist in managing the canteen's budget and financial operations & GRN proceeds & send bill to finance to process payments.Ensure compliance with all relevant organizational and legal policies, including food safety standards.Report daily material inspection, Indent, issues, and feedback to management.Required skills :
Experience in a similar role or the food service industry.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Knowledge of Stores regulations and best practices.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT & inventory management software (often preferred).Leadership and staff management skills.Experience in financial record-keeping and reporting.
