Executive Business Partner (Role based in Odisha- India)

We are seeking a dynamic team player in the following capacity to take on the roles of supporting talent development, employee engagement, and HR best practices across our Manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for :
Recruitment
- Monitor the team’s manpower requirements by reviewing, understanding same on a regular basis whilst, communicating the requirements to the expert team to ensure the right candidate is sourced at the right time whilst performing the following duties :
- Ensure that the recruitment requisition forms are handed over in a timely manner whilst, assisting the team in obtaining the finalized recruitment spec to facilitate the effective communication of same.
- Coordinating with Head of Departments (HODs) on new recruit interviews and facilitating the same
- Liaise with the HODs and the center HR team with regard to fulfilling the needs and requirements of new recruits in order to ensure that the required resources are available to commence work from the date of appointment.
- Oversee the arrangements for Day 1 on-boarding and orientation for new employees. Ensure the new recruits take part in MAS onboarding within the stipulated timelines
Organization Design – JDs & Structures :
Ensure that all employees have their job descriptions and assist in the updating of the same by coordinating and liaising with the relevant HOD’s and Divisional HR expert team.Ensure that the department structure is updated on a monthly basis in line with the monthly head count report and forward same to the divisional team for their perusal.Establish optimal HR structures at SBUs to support and enhance the quality of HR services to the Business, in adherence to the MAS Group structure standards, by way of effectively engaging in structure and resource optimization initiatives driven by Group.Talent Management :
Facilitate the Performance Management Process of the Business Unit by coordinating with department heads and working with them in ensuring KPI’s are set, and performance reviews are conducted in a timely manner whilst, conforming to the given guidelines thereby meeting Organizational requirements.Support the HODs of the assigned departments on the Competency Assessment process, Technical Ladder assessment process, and Performance reviews and support them to drive the related protocols.Training And Development :
Assist in identifying training and development needs of the assigned department and plant, and creation of Individual Development Plans to evaluate, monitor and report success of training pro-grams ensuring training objectives are met. This would also include the organizing, scheduling and finalizing participants for training programs.Maintain a comprehensive internal and external Trainer pool and continually enhance the Internal trainer pool capabilities to deliver best in class training facilitators to the organization Update and maintain accurate Learning & Development related records, system / manual Reports and all related system work in a timely mannerPromotion Process :
Support the promotion process by liaising with plant, HODS and coordinating interviews, to ensure business requirements are met with the best talent in accordance with standard structures & ratios.Employee Relations & Engagement :
Build strong relationships with employees through in order to ensure employee wellbeing and improve the employee experience whilst developing team spirit and enhancing talent retention.Proactively drive the completion of engagement calendars / actions to obtain the maximum participation to promote bonding among employeesServe as a touch point to the management on all Human Resource related concerns and support grievance handling while following up disciplinary action in the assigned department or plant.Employee Wellbeing :
Understand the changing needs of the business and culture in an in-depth manner by allocating sufficient time with the Business and Manufacturing team to support the managers in achieving HR related requirements whilst, taking necessary initiatives to ensure employee wellbeing and develop team spirit.Drive, establish and sustain relationships across all employee categories as the custodian & conduit from the division (HR Operations), thereby ensuring a strong work relationship amongst all parties and also within Divisions and SBU’s of MAS HoldingsExternal Connects :
Connect and build relationships with external stakeholders and Government Institutes in Odisha for Garment Manufacturing to ensure plant support is provided in a timely and effective manner
HR KPI Monitoring and Reporting :
Monitor the HR KPI’s (Head count, absenteeism, turnover, exits etc.) for the division in an accurate manner and report same to both Divisional Manager - HR Planning, Compensation & Performance and the Director – Human Resources.Liaise with relevant unit heads, team members, obtain relevant information and prepare reports as requested by the management team in order to facilitate the organizational decision-making process.Co-ordinate and ensure that the following is performed in a timely manner in order to maintain quality HR practices and standards amongst the assigned business teams :Ensure that confirmations are completed, and letters are handed over in a timely manner whilst, coordinating with the relevant HR point person to ensure that training reports are handed over upon confirmation.Coordinate the internal surveys and monitor the level of employee satisfaction whilst, taking active measures to improve employee retention.Handle the team’s grievances at a manageable level whist, coordinating with relevant HR personal to solve same in an effective manner.Compliance, Health & Safety :
Ensure that the environment, safety and health standards of the organization are adhered to while actively contribute towards promoting a culture of safety and environmental consciousness within and outside the organization.Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework and relevant laws and regulations and undertaking every necessary action to comply with the governance framework as well as be responsible to carry out and support mandatory annual Group training.Knowledge & Skills :
Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (HRM Advantageous)2 - 3 years of work experience in Human ResourcesGood communication skills (written and verbal)Fluency in Odia and HindiUnderstanding Japanese language would be an advantageInterpersonal skillsIT LiteracyInterested in applying?
