Software Test Engineer (Wi-Fi)

Job description

Understand the Arista Wi-Fi cloud architecture, its components, and related products.

Work with software development, test engineers and field support engineers to gather technical requirements, participate in functional specification and software design reviews, and validate that the product meets our customers requirements.

Own the feature and product; be the subject matter expert for your deliverables.

Be the first point of contact for field escalations. Reproduce the issue locally and drive them to a resolution by coordinating with Account, TAC, SysTest & Development teams.

Build and maintain Wi-Fi labs. The person will be responsible for designing & deploying complex networks that mimic customer environments at scale.

Test out end to end solutions that encompass wired and wireless deployments.

Interop testing between Arista APs and enterprise grade Clients and custom Wi-Fi equipment

Bachelor s / Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, IT or a related field.

5 - 15 years of experience in troubleshooting wired or wireless networks and debugging complex software; experience with Cloud and virtual
