Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Release Engineer / System Administrator to manage, automate, and enhance the build, deployment, and environment management processes. The ideal candidate will support development and QA environments, manage release workflows, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure high availability across platforms and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and analyze tools that support automation of software product releases
• Manage version control, builds, and release processes in line with engineering best practices
• Administer and monitor load balancers, firewalls, webservers, application servers, and databases
• Provide daily monitoring and operational support for Development and QA environments
• Coordinate deployments across all environments, including production
• Solve complex release engineering problems using best practices
• Create and maintain AnthillPro workflows and ensure the tool is updated and optimized
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Perl, or equivalent scripting languages
• Administer and manage SVN repositories, including access control and custom hooks
• Manually apply critical off-schedule code and SQL patches when required
• Troubleshoot performance issues in the application, environment, and database layers
• Diagnose and resolve host-level or system-level issues
• Design, implement, and enforce configuration management and change control processes
