Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and Playwright to join our QA team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications, with a focus on ensuring product quality and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and Playwright .
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and create effective test strategies.
Automate regression, functional, and integration tests to ensure faster delivery cycles.
Implement CI / CD integration for automated test execution.
Identify, analyze, and report defects effectively, working closely with development teams to drive timely resolutions.
Continuously improve automation coverage and efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest automation tools, trends, and best practices.

Requirements

2+ years of proven experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Python scripting.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for automation testing.

Solid understanding of automation frameworks, design patterns, and best practices .

Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured (Python-based preferred).

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, or similar).

Knowledge of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).

Strong debugging and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) in the context of testing.
