Role Overview

As the News Video Producer – Night Shift , you will be the senior-most decision-maker during overnight hours, responsible for overseeing real-time editorial operations across the video news team. You’ll lead a group of editors, strategists, and social media team members to ensure sharp, fast, and accurate content output around major U.S. political developments and breaking stories.

What you’ll do

• Watch U.S. political news and social feeds throughout the day and flag the best stories fast.
• Double-check facts with two trusted sources before we move.
• Find usable clips / photos and write a short brief for editors (title, hook, 3 key points).
• Work with video editors to get the cut out quickly and cleanly.
• Share quick status updates : what’s in progress, what’s next, and when it’s ready.
• Review results weekly and suggest small improvements to titles, hooks, and formats.
