Position Overview

The Business Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring smooth business operations and successful delivery of projects across functions. The role involves overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, managing performance metrics, and leading cross-functional initiatives to achieve business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This position requires a proactive leader with strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational management.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Oversee end-to-end business operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
  • Design, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for improved workflows and productivity.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other internal departments to align operations with organizational objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and budget allocations effectively.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through KPI tracking, dashboards, and operational reports.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and cost optimization.

Delivery Management

  • Lead planning and execution of projects to ensure timely, quality, and budget-aligned delivery.
  • Define project goals, deliverables, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent communication and coordination across teams to achieve delivery excellence.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation.
  • Implement best practices in project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or similar frameworks).
  • Maintain client and stakeholder satisfaction through transparent communication and timely delivery updates.
  • Business Operations & Strategy

  • Translate strategic objectives into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze performance data to recommend strategic improvements and business efficiencies.
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan, forecast, and execute operational strategies.
  • Support business expansion and scalability initiatives.
  • Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or project management tools

  • Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 12-15 years of experience in business operations, project delivery, or related domains.
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional operations and large-scale projects.
  • Experience in process optimization, performance management, and delivery oversight.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is an advantage.
