About The Role
Fuel For Growth is Reckitt's fixed cost optimisation initiative to drive improved effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation. As announced during the Strategic Update in July, this program will deliver a step change in organisational effectiveness and will unlock cost efficiencies delivering an end-state fixed-cost base of c.19%, from c.22% today.
Fuel for Growth team is looking for experienced Finance Manager to support with delivering this programme. This role will play a key part in bringing visibility on our cost base, enforcing current process and governance and deliver critical insights to enable strategic decisions.
Your responsibilities
- Understanding of company's cost base across different cost categories and functions (incl. regions / markets).Ability to understand & adapt the current process and governance structure in place and enable smooth functioning of the process. Take ownership of determining in scope and out of scope spends for Spend Control Tower based on policies in place. Exercise business and accounting knowledge to ensure accurate accounting of in scope spends as per policy. Independently conduct Spend Control Tower review meeting scheduling eligible business cases for detailed review with the chair and co-chair.
The experience we're looking for
Minimum 9-10 years' experience in Finance & FP&A with a good understanding of Reckitt's cost base and processesGood knowledge of decision-making structures and Reckitt stakeholder landscape locally and globallyExperience of working in delivery and outcome focused teams in a result orientated environmentExcellent networking skills (across multiple functions, business units, external stakeholders)Effective and impactful communication skills with an ability to articulate complex concepts in concise languagePersonal Attributes
