HR Manager

About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to oversee all human resources operations for our Vadodara office. The ideal candidate will have strong local HR experience , with in-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, employee relations, and talent management . This role requires a people-first leader who can balance operational efficiency with a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, and compliance .
- Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements such as PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, and labor law regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports, and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Partner with department heads to identify staffing needs and coordinate timely hiring with the recruitment team.
- Lead and implement employee engagement programs , retention strategies, and performance management processes.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions with fairness, empathy, and confidentiality.
- Conduct periodic HR audits to ensure compliance and process improvement.
- Support training and development initiatives to strengthen employee skills and career growth.
- Drive organizational culture initiatives aligned with company values and business goals.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business AdministrationMinimum of 5-7 years of HR experience with a strong background in local Indian HR operations .Proven experience managing HR in on-site or domestic companies (non-offshore).Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance .Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office applications.
